Micah House Kids Need Volunteers Homework/Reading/Recreation Times - Monday – Thursday: 3:00-4:00 pm for 1st-5th grades 4:00-5:30 pm for 6th grade and up.
Specific Needs
- Homework Helpers 3:00-4:00 pm (1st – 5th grades) 4:00-5:30 pm (6th – 12th grades)
- Bible/Life Lessons Story Time Readers 2:30-3:00 pm
- Recreation Time Leaders 1st-5th 3:30-4:00 pm, 6th & up 4:30-5:30 pm
- Teach art, crafts, gardening, sewing, cooking etc. What are your loves, share them with a child.
Literacy Program Needs
- Help when needed on computers/printers
- Literacy tester for students when needed
- Listener when students read
- Two days a week lead a reading group
Drivers Needed for ocassional field trips
Times usually between 2:30-5:30 pm. Drivers license, car insurance, and background check required.Contact Myra Meharry (909) 747-0319 for details, if you are interested.
